GARY HILL’S STUDIO INAUGURAL BRUNCH
02.12.24
The Seattle-born artist, established as one of the foundational figures of media art, opened the doors of his creative space to other artists, gallery owners and the general public. On the brown, industrial-style walls of his studio was projected Viewer (1996) one of the artist’s most provocative video installations exhibited worldwide in major museums and galleries such as MOMA (New York), San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (California) or Kunst-Werke (Berlin).
For the opening, Art & Design District hosted a brunch at the industrial studio where Viewer (1996) was projected, generating an immersive atmosphere at the warehouse.
